There are fresh green shoots popping out of my yard!

Long time no blog! Spring is on the way and folks are stepping out of their homes and reuniting with neighbors.

There’s a lot of change in the air: the seasons are changing, the infrastructure is progressing, and the MHA board has several positions opening up in April. If you are interested in being a part of the board or on the MHA Management Committee contact anyone currently on the board for more details! Elections will be held at the end of April.

The Trailer Wrap is finished and ready to be purchased. If you know anyone who may be interested in the fabulous designer home have them contact Thistle.

Are you wondering what to do with your “fresh slate” yard after the infrastructure is complete? Well, MMHP has formed a Garden Club! We currently meet once a month to discuss our yards and gardens, the possibility of having community gardens this year, and other things that community oriented people talk about. We buy materials in bulk and help one another with preparing our gardens for the coming year. We also have a wonderful tradition of feeding one another with a pre-meeting potluck. Man there’s some good cooks in our neighborhood! To find out when and where the next meeting is being held contact Robert at mha@powerlisteningcenter.com

The MMHP is also forming a Welcome Wagon to welcome and introduce new residents to the park. The Mobil-izer will contain more details about how you can be a part of the welcoming process.

Stay tuned for updates and look for the new MMHP calendar that will be up and running soon!
